Margot earned her Master of Arts degree in Counseling Psychology at St. Mary’s College in Minneapolis. She is a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW) in Minnesota and is in private practice. Margot has over 20 years of clinical experience and works with adults, couples and families.

Margot specializes in mood disorders, anxiety disorders, trauma recovery, relationship problems and career transition issues. Margot has written published articles on grief and loss recovery. She feels privileged to help those individuals who are struggling with complex grief reactions and enjoys helping them to regain their joy, energy and life activities. Margot’s focus in couples’ counseling includes improving communication skills, teaching conflict resolution, and enhancing parenting skills. She has also completed additional education in personal coaching and is interested in working with individuals who are going through career transitions.
